Minimum age, deposit, swimming ability and sometimes a proficiency certificate, depending on the operator and site.
Guided sessions
Coastal ride-outs, taster sessions and longer tours with a lead rider.
Costs
How much does jetski hire cost?
Hire is normally priced per session or per hour, often with a security deposit. Confirm what is included and the damage liability before you pay.
Hire operators differ hugely: some run guided coastal safaris with full kit and briefing, others hire by the hour in a controlled area. Check what licence or qualification is required, what safety kit is provided, and what the damage deposit is.
