Launching a jetski at Baiter Slipway
Poole, Dorset · South Coast

Baiter Slipway (sometimes referred to as Harbourside 1) which is a run by BCP Council is an area that visitors can use to safely launch smaller vessels, such as personal watercraft (PW) into Poole Harbour. It is important to note though that the slipway is very shallow. This shallowness is to the point that if your RIB is more than a six-man vessel, you shouldn’t expect to use the slipway without a struggle at anything other than high water. It is also worth noting that there are other private slips in the area that are operated by local yacht clubs that are excellent, but they can be very expensive.
